NH Research 4700-2 DC Electronic Load
The NHR 4700-2 DC Electronic Load is a high-performance testing solution that has been designed for a variety of electronic loading scenarios. It is especially well-suited for those requiring rapid transient simulation capabilities, thorough internal measurements, and full current at low voltages. This electronic load is perfect for demanding testing situations because it has a power rating of 2 kW, a maximum current of 400A, and a voltage range of 1 to 120 V. The 4700-2 can operate as a standalone benchtop device or in automated test stations.
When testing power conversion and storage items like telecom rectifiers, batteries, and DC power supply, this electronic load performs exceptionally well. Advanced features like microsecond pulses, numerous pulses with different widths, stepped responses, variable slew rates, and even an AC component on the DC waveform may be created using it to create sophisticated dynamic load profiles. The management of these profiles is done via macros, which have the capacity to include up to 100 steps. This allows for the fastest transition speeds to be carried out by the load directly. The system controller has the ability to store macros for instantaneous download and execution when required.
The NH Research 4700-2 features an intuitive six-tab touch-panel GUI with a wealth of information and control choices. This interface makes things easier to use and improves the functionality of the load management. Because the load has built-in measuring capabilities, it is frequently possible to reduce testing time and equipment costs by not using external instruments like digital multimeters, power meters, or digital storage oscilloscopes. For dynamic timing assessments, such as rise time, turn-on time, settle time, and overshoot, these metrics are especially useful.
The 4700-2 places a high priority on safety, and its programmable safety limits are designed to prevent damage from defects, programming errors, or user error. Upon activation, these limitations immediately cut off the output, issue an error message, and cease all further activities until the fault is remedied.
